Artists Statement I am largely influenced by the landscape I find myself in.I have been living and working in my native Buncrana for over ten years. I am inspired by the local townlands and my daily passage through them. I am interested in the borders and boundaries and the transient landmarks of the Inishowen Peninsula. I am fascinated by the local light, which is everchanging , influenced by season, weather and time of day.Hailstorms and showers can, within minutes, transform these ordinary places into another world of colour and light.
